Welcome to CAVE

CAVE is an acronym for Communities Advancing Valued Environments. CAVE was formed in 2004 after recognizing the need for community building in the Greater Toronto Area. CAVE has established itself in the GTA as an organization that strives to transform communities through various initiatives, primarily Mural Transformation Projects and mentoring artists.

The Laser Eagles Art Guild operates under the umbrella of CAVE, which is one of the only art organizations in the Greater Toronto Area that provides fully-inclusive environments for those who have been labeled with a disability. The programs that the Guild offers are also designed in a way that they are fully sustainable, and can be tailored to every environment where there is a need for these artists to express themselves. The goal is to provide a fully-inclusive environment, through art, in every Toronto neighborhood, in order to generate awareness on inclusion.

CAVE has been very active with the BMX community by helping to raise funds to build and sustain BMX parks in Toronto.

CAVE has also partnered with various community groups and agencies as well as organizations such as The Toronto Police Services, Toronto Crime Stoppers, Local BIA's, local Artists, Business Owners and Residents.

CAVE has worked on a number of projects in the Greater Toronto Area including the Croft Street Graffiti Transformation Project, The Richmond Street Transformation Project, the Broadcast Lane Transformation Project and Sonya's Park Revitalization Project to name a few. Please visit our Art Gallery to view photos from the projects.

What initiated and continues to sustain CAVE is people voluntarily coming together with a shared vision and belief in healthy communities. The fundamental view is that great things happen when people work together.
